Join us for the launch of Clem Bastow’s Late Bloomer.

Clem Bastow’s writing appears regularly in The Saturday Paper and The Guardian and she has written about film and television for journals including The Lifted Brow and Kill Your Darlings. Her new book, Late Bloomer, is a heartfelt Australian coming-of-age memoir that will change the way you think about Autism. In 2018 Clem wrote a piece for The Age with the headline, “I was diagnosed as on the spectrum at 36, suddenly things made sense”. Late Bloomer expands upon that moment, presenting a collection of essays that speak to Clem’s experience as a woman who was diagnosed as Autistic later in life.
